Prepare for a deep beneficial stretch with Yin Yoga. This practice uses two to five minute hold times on postures to facilitate release in areas of the body which contain dense connective tissue. Yin is an especially excellent counterbalance for quicker flow classes. This practice also allows the joints to remain youthful as you age. While yin can be passive and relaxing, it also allows the practitioner to move deeper within the poses over the long hold times. This class is for all levels. Beginner students and seasoned practitioners can both find modifications to create a truly inclusive experience.
