This virtual yoga class uses long holds to facilitate deep breathing and assist the body into poses that are deeply supported by blankets, pillows, bolsters or straps. These long holds activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which in turn can help slow breathing, reduce blood pressure, and invite a sense of calmness and increased well-being.
